Located just 8 km away from the village of Brădetu, in Argeș County, you will find Cabana Poienile Vâlsanului (previously known as Vraja Munților), a peaceful and beautiful oasis, full of history and tradition, ideal for a few days or even weeks of vacation, complemented by the typical Argeș hospitality.
Speaking of "tradition," numerous tourist attractions in the area must be mentioned. The term "history" is relevant due to the renowned Vâlsan Natural Reserve, which houses the prehistoric fish species called asprete, over 65 million years old, along with many other dreamy places that you will fall in love with on each visit.
The shortest route to Valea Vâlsanului starts from the Bucharest-Pitești highway, continues towards Curtea de Argeș, and then turns right towards Merișani, following the road to the village of Brădetu. The 174 km route can be covered in approximately 2 hours, and from there, you continue on a fairly well-maintained forest road for another 8 km, a journey of about 30 minutes.
After the 15 km of gorges, the slopes open up revealing Poiana Vâlsanului or Poieni, as the locals call it.
The property can be rented for a minimum of two nights.
