"Pensiunea Padina Craiului is located at the edge of the Piatra Craiului National Park, in the village of Podu Dâmboviței, Dâmbovicioara commune, on the Bran-Rucăr corridor. Classified with 4 flowers, this guesthouse was built with European funds and was inaugurated in August 2013. ### Access **From Bucharest:** 1. Via the A1 highway (E81) and DN 73 (E574): Bucharest - Pitești - Pitești ring road (highway) - Câmpulung - Dragoslavele - Rucăr - Podu Dâmboviței. The distance of 180 km, out of which 110 km on the highway, can be covered in approximately 2 hours. 2. On DN 1 (E60) and DN 73 (E574): Bucharest - Ploiești - Sinaia - Predeal - Pârâul Rece - Râșnov - Moieciu - Fundata - Podu Dâmboviței. The distance of 190 km can be covered in approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes. 3. Via DN 71 and DN 72A: Bucharest - Târgoviște - Cetățeni - Stoenești - Valea Mare Pravăț (Câmpulung) - Dragoslavele - Rucăr - Podu Dâmboviței. The distance of 170 km can be covered in approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes. **From Brasov:** On DN 73 (E574): Brașov - Râșnov - Moieciu - Fundata - Podu Dâmboviței. The distance of 55 km can be covered in approximately 50 minutes. ### Accommodation Pensiunea Padina Craiului offers 12 accommodation places in 6 double rooms, equipped with double bed and private bathroom. Four rooms have balconies, and in two of them, an extra bed can be added. Each room has a flower name (Garofița Pietrei Craiului, Brândușa, Ghințura, Floare de Colț, Bujor de Munte, Nu mă uita) and is decorated in a classic style with solid wood furniture and quality carpet. Amenities include cable TV, LED TV, and free wireless internet access. The bathrooms, tiled with glass mosaic, are equipped with a sink, a glass-enclosed shower cabin, toilet, liquid soap dispensers, hairdryer, socket for electric shaver, and quality accessories. Access to the rooms is done with an electronic proximity card. The guesthouse provides hot and cold water non-stop, as well as centralized heating. ### Restaurant The guesthouse has a bar and a wine cellar with a closed circuit for guests. Breakfast is included in the accommodation rate, and full board (lunch and/or dinner) is available upon request. Festive meals can be organized for various occasions (team-building, Easter, Christmas, New Year's, birthdays, etc.). We are open to any suggestions and will collaborate with clients to establish the menu and schedule according to their preferences. ### Barbecue The guesthouse's outdoor barbecue, equipped with a rotisserie and grill, is arranged in a traditional Romanian rustic style. To accentuate traditional hospitality, the dishes will be served in authentic ceramic pots from Horezu. Access to the barbecue is organized, under the supervision of staff. ### Relaxation Area (Lounge) On the ground floor of the guesthouse, there is a lounge with sofas, a large diagonal LED TV, multimedia station, and fireplace, with free wireless internet access. ### Outdoor Terrace The 40 sqm outdoor terrace is equipped with rattan furniture and offers free wireless internet access. ### Spa Area We offer, for an extra charge, access to an outdoor space specially designed for relaxation: an outdoor jacuzzi with a capacity of 8 seats, wooden loungers, and sun umbrellas. ### Playground The playground includes a covered swing with a pergola and a table with chairs made of fir logs. ### Horse-Drawn Sleigh Ride The guesthouse has a traditional sleigh for 6-8 people.
