Dorel Codoban Guesthouse was designed as a place of relaxation and refuge in the midst of nature, a picturesque oasis that will enchant you from the very first encounter.
With a structure of ground floor + 1st floor + attic, the guesthouse offers on the first floor 2 double rooms and 2 triple rooms, and in the attic 2 double rooms and a suite consisting of a bedroom with double bed, living room with sofa bed, TV, fridge, and a bathroom. Each room has a terrace with panoramic views, modernly furnished for enhanced comfort. All rooms are equipped with shutters to allow you to decide when the morning begins.
The private bathrooms are equipped with a shower, complimentary toiletries, hairdryer, slippers, and flat-screen TV. The doors of the balconies and windows have mosquito nets. Central heating and permanent hot water are provided by solar panels.
The guesthouse has a fully equipped kitchen to allow you to cook for yourselves, a dining hall for events and conferences with a capacity of 35-40 persons, two outdoor terraces - one covered and one uncovered, where you can dine and cook outside.
Facilities include a children's playground, sauna area, hot tub with heated water, table tennis, internal parking for 10 vehicles. With an old oven in the courtyard, the hosts prepare traditional products in the evening to be enjoyed by the fireplace in the living room.
The guesthouse hosts traditional craftsmanship workshops of the Codoban family, where local traditional crafts are discussed, including the violin with horn workshop of the folk master Dorel Codoban and his wife's traditional costume weaving workshop.
Adjacent to the Crystal Cave Farcu and only 16 km away from the Bertalia Beius geo-thermal thermal water spa, Dorel Codoban Guesthouse is the ideal place for exploring the beauty of nature and relaxation. Additionally, there are several tourist attractions in the area to visit, and since September 2016, the guesthouse has received the ECO-Romania certificate issued by the Romanian Ecotourism Association (AER), demonstrating commitment to sustainability.
