The cabin is located within the territory of Telciu commune, in the village of Fiad, Bistrița-Năsăud County, approximately 25 km from the border with Maramureș County, on Valea Sălăuței. The distance from Bistrița is about 60 km, and the altitude is approximately 500 m. The cabin is close to Fiad Fish Farm, managed by the Bistrița Forest District. Additional services: fishing in the pool (within Fiad Fish Farm) and access to the pavilion (extra charge). The cabin was built on the site of a former building that served as a district headquarters. The building was transformed and expanded beginning in 1993, and the dining room was modernized in 2007. The yard is paved and includes parking.
