The Tourist Pension Cetatea Craiului, opened in 2014 with the help of European funds through the Regional Operational Program, offers modern accommodation with breakfast included and top-class tourist services, in a 4-star regime.
Located outside the urban center of Râșnov, the guesthouse's location in the Farmacistul area offers a haven of peace and nature, being isolated from any neighbors within a radius of 300 meters.
The pension ensures maximum security through fencing, exterior surveillance systems, and an anti-burglary system, with 24/7 security. The area enjoys impressive views towards the Bucegi, Postăvarul, Piatra Craiului, and Măgura Codlei mountain ranges, as well as towards the city and Râșnov Citadel. Far from mass tourism, but accessible to various attractions, this is the ideal location for those looking to escape urban stress.
The guesthouse is located in a multicultural and historical mountainous area, with authentic Romanian and Saxon traditions. Nearby tourist attractions include: Râșnov Citadel, Valea Cetății Cave (2 km), Râșnoavei Gorges (3 km), Brașov (12 km), Bran Castle (8 km), Zărnești Bear Sanctuary (12 km), Poiana Brașov (9 km), Grădiștei Gorges (12 km), Pârâul Rece (14 km), and Predeal (21 km).

The accommodation capacity consists of 10 rooms of 18 square meters, of which 7 rooms have two single beds and 3 rooms have double beds. The rooms are bright, with a view of the mountain landscape, furnished with quality painted wooden pieces, and equipped with TV, refrigerator/minibar, and private bathroom with hydromassage shower cabin. Hairdryers, ironing boards and irons are provided, as well as laundry services.
The guesthouse has a restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere and views of the mountain landscape, furnished and equipped with quality tableware.
Breakfast, included in the accommodation cost, is prepared from traditional local products. Lunch and dinner can be served optionally, upon request, cooked in the local traditional style. The reception lounge offers a relaxation area after hikes, and in the evening entertainment activities like campfires, music, and dancing can be organized.
The 85 square meter conference room, fully equipped, is ideal for professional tourism programs, training, workshops or trainings.
Sports activities in the area include mountain hiking, horseback riding, sport fishing, paragliding/paramotoring, hunting observation organized by the Forestry Department, tennis at clubs in Râșnov, rock climbing and rappelling in Râșnoavei Gorges, skiing in Poiana Brașov, Pârâul Rece and Predeal, as well as cross-country skiing, biathlon and ski jumping at the Olympic Complex in Râșnov.
