Benke Mansion offers common spaces and elegant rooms, being one of the most exclusive accommodation locations in the high-class tourism area.
The guesthouse is set in a building constructed in classic style at the beginning of the 19th century, together with an annex. The building, protected by the Covasna County Council, was erected around the transition between the 19th and 20th centuries, probably by modifying a pre-existing structure. Initially, the mansion had a rectangular structure with two longitudinal bays. The southern facade, segmented with a porch with a pediment in front of the main entrance, presents an imposing image. The cornice and window frames are decorated with richly profiled plaster ornaments, specific to the noble houses of the Szekler region during that period.
With a moderate continental climate, the locality of Moacsa enjoys summers rich in precipitation and cold winters. Westerly temperate-oceanic winds dominate in the warm season, while temperate-continental currents bring cold air during the winter. Most of the precipitation falls in the month of June, while February is the driest month.
The old, dilapidated buildings were acquired in 2007 and 2008 by SC GOLDIM SRL and renovated to become a tourist guesthouse between 2008 and 2013.
