Transalpina, also known as DN67C, is one of the highest and most spectacular mountain roads in Romania. The road crosses the Parâng Mountains and connects the counties of Gorj, Vâlcea, Alba and Sibiu, reaching its highest point at Urdele Pass, at over 2,100 meters altitude.
