Accommodation Băile Tușnad

Băile Tușnad is the smallest spa resort in Romania and one of the most picturesque tourist destinations in Harghita County. The resort is located in southeastern Transylvania, in the Olt Valley, between the Harghita and Bodoc Mountains, about 35 km from Miercurea Ciuc and 65 km from Brașov. Surrounded by conifer forests and clean mountain air, Băile Tușnad offers an ideal natural setting for relaxation and spa treatments.

The resort is famous for its mineral springs and natural mofettas, which are used in treatments for cardiovascular, rheumatic and nervous system conditions. Over time, Băile Tușnad developed into an important spa destination, and today it offers modern treatment facilities, spa hotels and numerous services for visitors.

One of the most important attractions near the resort is Lake Sfânta Ana, the only volcanic lake in Romania, located about 6 km away. In the same area visitors can also explore Tinovul Mohoș, a unique natural reserve formed in a former volcanic crater. Tourists can also enjoy hiking in the Harghita Mountains, wildlife observation and panoramic trails around the resort.
