Accommodation Toplița

Toplița is a town located in the northern part of Harghita County, in the upper valley of the Mureș River, at the foothills of the Călimani and Gurghiu Mountains. The town lies about 65 km from Miercurea Ciuc and around 30 km from Borsec, being one of the most important tourist destinations in the northern area of the county. Its location in a spectacular mountain landscape makes Toplița an excellent starting point for exploring the natural beauty of the Eastern Carpathians.

The town is well known for its thermal springs and for the Bánffy Thermal Baths, where visitors can relax in outdoor pools with warm mineral water throughout the year. Another important landmark is the Saint Elijah Monastery of Toplița, an Orthodox monastery built at the beginning of the 20th century and located in a beautiful natural setting.
