Vila Nico is located at 4 Hunedoarei Street, on the way to the Prislop Monastery, a refuge of Father Arsenie Boca. Our accommodation unit has 4 rooms with private bathroom, LED TV, Wi-Fi internet, a fully equipped kitchen, parking in the inner courtyard, barbecue and playground for children.
There are numerous attractions to visit in the area:
- The stone church in Santamaria Orlea from the 13th century and the Kendeffy Castle built in Baroque style in 1702;
- The Dinosaur Geopark with the Dwarf Dinosaurs House;
- The bison reserve in Hateg, one of the few places in Europe where these animals live in the wild;
- Prislop Monastery 14 km away;
- Sarmizegetusa Ulpia Traiana, a city from Roman Dacia 15 km away;
- Densus Church, the oldest church in Romania where services are still held;
- Corvin Castle, one of the most appreciated castles in Europe;
- Retezat National Park, also known as the "Jewel of the Carpathians";
- The stone church in Sanpetru, Colt Church, Hateg Museum, Bottomless Lake and many other attractions.
