Located in a picturesque location along the Danube, at the foot of the mountain, Delfinul Tourist Cabin offers you the opportunity to admire the spectacular gorge carved by the Danube into the mountain on the Clisura Dunării, in the Great Boilers. With 20 accommodation places, distributed in 7 double rooms and 1 apartment overlooking the Danube and the mountain, the Cabin awaits you to enjoy delicious fish dishes, such as fish soup, fish stew, fish roe, and many others, both at the restaurant and outside, on the terrace. The Boilers represent a portion of the Danube Gorge between Dubova and Ogradena, consisting of the Great Boilers and the Small Boilers, where the Danube is forced to pass through the mountains, its width narrowing between 180-250 meters, forming a unique natural monument in Europe. In the area of the Boilers, at the entrance to the gulf on the Mraconia River, you will find a stone sculpture of Decebal, with a height of 40 meters and a width of 25 meters. Nearby, the Mraconia skete is being built, and on the bank of the Danube lies the Tabula Traiana, marking the beginning of Trajan's suspended road in Dacia. With direct access to both the Danube and the mountain, Delfinul Tourist Cabin offers a relaxing stay, with the possibility of fishing, boat trips, or walks on the hills. Equipped with modern facilities, each room has a hairdryer, central heating, air conditioning, private bathroom, and TV. Additionally, the cabin has a living room, restaurant, and bar, where you can savor fish dishes specific to the Clisura region. In addition to relaxing walks and water activities, the area offers numerous tourist attractions and dreamy landscapes, such as the sculpture of Decebal, Tabula Traiana, Mraconia skete, Small Boilers, and Great Boilers, among others. Access to the cabin can be made on the E771 from Drobeta Turnu Severin towards Orșova and then on DN57 towards Moldova Nouă, 7 km from the exit of the locality of Dubova, or from Timișoara, through Caransebeș – Orșova – Moldova Nouă.
