Pensiunea Steaua Dunării is located in the village of Eșelnița, right on the banks of the Danube, in the picturesque area of the Danube Gorges. It offers a restaurant, outdoor pool, terrace, and beach area. Accommodation is available in 23 rooms. Guests can enjoy traditional, local cuisine at the guesthouse’s restaurant. Additionally, they can take part in water-based leisure activities such as water skiing, wakeboarding, SUP, tubing, and fishing. For relaxation, the saltwater outdoor pool offers the perfect setting to enjoy a cocktail, a cold draft beer, or other refreshing summer drinks. The guesthouse also organizes boat trips in the Danube Gorges to visit iconic sights like the Statue of Decebalus, Tabula Traiana, and Ponicova Cave. Hiking trips to Ciucarul Mare and other scenic trails within the Iron Gates or Domogled Natural Parks are also available. Together with Vila Casa 9, we can host special events for approximately 100 people and provide accommodation for up to 60 guests — ideal for weddings, baptisms, or team-building events.
